Well its finally here.  I am hoping for lots of lovely visitors today and tomorrow.   I'm sure the weather forecast was for more sun but its cloudy.  Never mind it might encourage people to get in their cars and come out here.  Still need to do a price list but apart from that I think I'm ready.

Well it's snowing like mad and it's too cold to work in my workshop.  Snow is covering the skylights anyway so I can't see to cut glass.  It's not much warmer in the house but despite that Jack has been naked all day.  Goodness knows how he stays warm but he does and point blank refuses to put anything on.  I have managed to make a few coasters in the living room but a certain little boy just keeps asking "Mummy will you play with me."

Things are going quite well so far, I have had an article about myself published in the January/February issue of Craft and Design magazine and have been accepted for the North Yorkshire Open Studios in June so come and see me.  I am also having an exhibition at the Monk's Haven cafe gallery in Whitby, hopefully around the end of February.  Will add details later.

Been back home a while now, got my degree results 2:1 hooray.  Not done any work since I got back, my workshop is in the process of being remodelled.  Could take some time.  Been mainly occupied with keeping Jack my three year old off my mobile phone, he's obsessed with You Tube and a bit too good at using it.  In the middle of trying to upload some new images from my phone but it's being temperamental.. The City Gallery in Leeds want to see some stuff so best get on with it
